Matt Rhule Gains Respect from Bill Synder after K-State Game
Matt Rhule says He Got a Hand Written Note from Bill Snyder After Playing K-State.
Matt Rhule speaks on his past coaching experiences and how it shaped his jump to Baylor. Rhule is a new face in the Big 12 and still has a lot to prove to the rest of the league. One thing that Matt talks about is the importance to learn from people who have been there. Comparatively, Rhule in his past was a veteran coach compared to his peers in the American Conference. Having that experience he says, gives him perspective for his Big 12 career.
Bill Snyder, the old guard of the Big 12, sent Rhule a note after the Bears and K-State played. It shows a sign of respect and that old-school football still lives. Let’s hope that Matt Rhule can implement some of Snyder’s philosophies to put the Big 12 back on the map.
