Petras on crowd storming the field after big win: “That was sweet. It was awesome”
Iowa Hawkeyes QB Spencer Petras reflected on their big win against Penn State this past weekend.
“We obviously played a great opponent today and to come out on top is huge. But really, it’s going to be back to the drawing board on Monday. We’re gonna enjoy the hell out of this. Our 24-hour rule. Enjoy the win. It was a big win. But we have one more week until our bye week and our focus becomes Purdue and then after that, we can really take time to reflect and rest and that kind of stuff.”
Petras also spoke on the aspect of fans storming the field after the win.
“My redshirt freshman year, Minnesota at home, I think we rushed the field for that. Didn’t have the chance last year, obviously. That’s one of those things that you love to see. It’s always super fun.”
