OBJ on almost signing with the Patriots: “Very close”

Odell Beckham Jr. has endured a lot of ups and downs in the past couple of years. From being traded by the Giants and then tearing his ACL, just a few months ago, he was released by the Browns and had a decision to make on where he would play next with the ultimate goal of chasing a Super Bowl ring. He says he was close to joining Bill Belichick and the Patriots but chose the Rams because he felt that LA was just right.

“To be able to just sit down on the phone with Bill Belichick and talk football, it’s like what more could you ask for. So I was very close. That was one of the teams that were in there. But I felt like this (LA) was home. I felt like this was right.”
