Ray Lewis talks about spreading positive energy through the Ray of Hope foundation, and his pick to win Super Bowl LIII in an exclusive interview with Fanatics View.

NFL Hall of Famer Ray Lewis has embarked on a mission to uplift those in need through inspirational video messages. And so along with his friend John Brenkus, the Ray of Hope foundation was born to share messages of hope.

“You read these random stories,” said Ray Lewis, of those who turn to the foundation for help. “And you get these stories that a mother’s child is suffering, and a mother dying of cancer. It’s like ‘what, and nobody wanna help you?’ Somebody gotta do something. And that’s why Ray of Hope says ‘let’s give out enough, let’s throw all the shots we can. And let’s just give out all the energy we can, and let’s bless them.'”

The two-time Super Bowl champion also shared his personal experience with going through a tough time, and staying positive.

“I finally was introduced to myself,” said Lewis. “That’s what happens when you find yourself in a hard time. You rediscover what you’ve lost. And when you lose it, you don’t realize you lose it; until you re-find it.”

Lewis also picked the Rams to defeat the Patriots at Super Bowl LIII, but also acknowledged Tom Brady’s accomplished career.

“I think the Rams have an opportunity to pull a upset,” said Lewis. “I just think the Rams do. I think they do, but it is Tom Brady.”
