He stated that time and state of the game needs be taken into consideration, because officials stopping to review smaller issues disrupts the overall flow of the game.

Overall the changes of instant replay rules have helped officials clean up the game, but the flow and speed of the game has taken a backseat to these rules. Hopefully in due time a change will come that will make the game experience more enjoyable for coaches, players and fans.
