Josh Anderson on Montreal Canadiens Battling Out Game 4 Win vs. Tampa: “We Believe In Each Other”
Watch as Josh Anderson reacts to Canadiens crazy overtime win against Tampa.
Down 3-0 against Tampa, the Canadiens fought their heart out on Monday to preserve their chance at winning the Stanley Cup.
“I thought we had a pretty good game tonight”, Anderson told media after the win. “We all suck together and believed in eachother.”
Not finished yet, Anderson spoke on Canadiens drive to keep series alive and not lose at home.
“We didn’t want to end it tonight in front of our fans. We expect to go to Tampa tomorrow, I think everyone in that locker room did. We packed out our bags this afternoon, just had that feeling we were gonna win tonight and give ourselves a chance.”
In addition, Anderson spoke on his first period goal to give the Canadiens their first lead in the series.
“It was obviously a big moment, I wasn’t really sure if it did go in there at the very beginning. I just looked at the ref’s hands, and saw a bunch of people coming to me. I was very fortunate, and like I said, ready to go to Tampa.”
