Watch as Max Pacioretty recaps Knights’ 2021 season following game 6 loss in semi-final.

After a devastating OT loss to Montreal, the Knights were eliminated just two wins away from competing for the Stanley Cup.

“It’ll take a little while here for it to settle in and get over it”, Max said on bitter series loss against former team in the Canadiens.

In a tough year for all sports, Max discussed the Knights journey in 2021 after intense COVID-19 restrictions around the league.

“It was definitely a tough year on players all over the league and their families with rules and restrictions, and no fans in some arenas. Yeah, I thought we handled it really well there right up into the very end. It makes it a little bit harder of a pill to swallow”, he finished.

Additionally, Max spoke on huge OT missed opportunity to secure game 6 & force a game 7.

“It was one of my better chances in the series. It would have been nice story to tell If i converted on that and we came home and played game 7 today. Wasn’t able to, and that’s the way hockey goes sometimes.”
