Dirk Nowitzki announces his return to the Mavs for another season

There has been much speculation surrounding the status of Dirk Nowitzki and his retirement decision  as the NBA regular season meets its end.

While the legendary German baller had one of the most efficient shooting seasons of his historic career in a more limited role this season, Dallas missed out on the playoffs again and continued to trend in the wrong direction. With little to no hope of snagging another title before calling it quits, it seemed as though this season might be the final go-round for the transcendent talent.
