Adrien Broner says he always knew he’d get a shot against Manny Pacquiao
Adrien Broner talks about his upcoming fight against Manny Pacquiao and how he envisions that the fight would go.
Adrien Broner (33-3-1, 24 KOs) is set to challenge WBA welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (60-7-2, 39 KOs) for the title at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on Jan. 19. Broner looks to get back to the win column and once again become a world champion. He always envisioned that his shot against Pacquiao would come.
“I always knew I would fight Pacquiao one day,” said Broner, smiling. “I always knew it. I said ‘I’ma get big enough to fight Pacqiuiao one day.’ Finally happened.”
Broner is a former four-division champion and a victory over Pacquiao can help him regain the star power he once carried. He always envisioned that he would be victorious whenever the moment came. For him, it’s more than just a chance to rejuvenate his career.
“I beat him,” said Broner, on his envision. “I think it’s going to be one of my easiest fights.”
