Tyson Fury speaks on his final face off with Deontay Wilder and why he thinks Wilder lost his composure.

The final face off between Tyson Fury (27-0, 19KOs) and WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39KOs) turned real heated. Wilder seemed to have completely lost his cool with Fury as he shouted at him with rage during their final face off.

“He felt that he needed to scream and shout at me, and all that sort of stuff,” said Fury. “But we’re fighting men. You know, he (Wilder) had all his teammates on the back of the stage. My brothers were in the back of the crowd, but it is what it is. We’re not afraid of nobody. If you wanna fight outside, they wanna fight on stage; no problem. But we’re here to do a job or sport, let’s keep it professional.”

Although Fury exchanged words with Wilder during their face off, he didn’t match Wilder’s intense energy. They then had to be held back from one another after they both shoved each other. Fury also believes that Wilder was trying to trigger him into punching him.

“I ain’t gonna make that mistake, I ain’t gonna lose half my purse,” said Fury. “He (Wilder) knows he can’t win. And I think it’s very clear for everyone to see now the nerves in him on the way he’s conducting he self. You never know what somebody’s thinking, but I’ve had a lot of experience with people. And when I look at Deontay Wilder, I see a very nervous character.”
