The Los Angeles Clippers were recently in Dallas to face the Mavericks for their second meeting at the American Airlines Center this season.

In their first meeting, point guard Patrick Beverley was ejected after an altercation with a fan. Beverley would toss the ball in the direction of the fan, which cost him some money, in a fine handed down by the league, and the opportunity to hit the showers early.

In the first meeting, the Mavericks outlasted the Clippers with a final score of 114 -110. The Clippers would get some revenge on the Mavericks’ home court as they beat Dallas 125-121. After the game, Avery Bradley answered questions on the Markelle Fultz injury, Dirk Nowitzki’s legacy, and Dwyane Wade’s legacy.

“I can’t really speak for him (Markelle Fultz), it varies depending on the person everybody is different. Sometimes it takes guys a few games to get adjusted and sometimes it takes people a little longer. I can say this I do wish the best for him and hope he is able to get over that mental block and go other and play the game he loves,” said Bradley.

The Clippers have the Heat next on their schedule and D Wade announced that the will not be returning next season. Bradley shared that D Wade is one of his favorite players and “I really appreciate everything he brought to the game. Amazing player and I’m going to miss him a lot.”

He would finish the interview by sharing his thought about Dirk’s legacy. Bradley adds that by him growing up in the Dallas area, he has always been a Dirk fan. Bradley states that Dirk can easily be considered one of the league’s greatest ever power forwards and that he brought so much to the game of basketball. The fan in Bradley also wishes that this isn’t Dirk’s final hoo-rah and that he wishes Dirk can come back for at least one more season for a proper goodbye.
