Andy Ruiz mobbed by big crowd during Barstool Sports pizza review
Andy Ruiz was surrounded by both fans and media alike as he walked the streets of New York.
Andy Ruiz was met with a crowd of cameras as he walked out of the Capitale in New York. The new unified heavyweight champion had just finished a press conference to announce his upcoming rematch with Anthony Joshua.
As Ruiz walked the streets surrounded by cameras, onlookers recognized him and the crowd grew bigger. “The Destroyer” has become a star after he dethroned Anthony Joshua for the titles in June, while also becoming the first Mexican heavyweight champion in history.
Wearing his sombrero, Ruiz came to a halt at Manero’s pizza; where he was met by El Presidente of Barstool Sports. They did a pizza review together, while talking about the upcoming fight on Dec. 7.
“Anthony Joshua, everyone’s saying ‘fluke, fluke,'” said El Presidente. “I don’t think so. I do not think so. By the way, you gotta unify those.”
“I’m just missing one belt,” said Ruiz. “Deontay Wilder, he has it; the WBC (belt).”
