Hunter Pence on Returning Home to Texas, MLB The Show & Gaming with His Wife
Rangers’ outfielder Hunter Pence spoke with Fanatics View on Wednesday.
In the Interview, Pence discussed his signing with the Rangers and his return to his hometown of Dallas-Fort Worth.
“It feels like a crazy synchronicity”, Pence told Fanatics View. “I thought I was going to be a Giant the rest of my career; they thought I was done. It was beautiful that the Rangers wanted to give me an opportunity to help them win. It’s super cool that I grew up here, I was here when the stadium was built, and now I get to play in the last year of it – It’s really special to me”.
Wrapping up the interview, Pence was asked about being in the popular baseball video game, MLB The Show.
“Its kinda crazy, when I was a kid I tried to build my own player”, he said. “You gotta make sure you’re out there performing, because if you’re not, than you stink in the game. There’s been some years I’ve been good, and years I’ve been stinky on there. You have to keep up on your points – you can’t be weak in the video game”, he finished.
