Todd Frazier feels offensive production will not be an issue for the Rangers.

The Rangers offseason focus may have centered around starting pitching, but Todd Frazier assures that’s not the core of the team. With new additions Corey Kluber, Kyle Gibson, and Jordan Lyles, the rotation has more leverage for innings and quality starts. The Toms River, New Jersey native is confident the offense isn’t short on run support to provide the upgraded rotation.

“We know who we have on the mound, and we’re gonna have to support them,” said Frazier. “So whether they give up runs or not, the name of the game is ‘score as many runs.’ And we got some bashers that are ready to rock, including myself.”

Frazier is coming over to Texas on a one-year, 5M deal, with a team option for 2021. He spent the previous two seasons with the New York Mets before hitting free agency. The third basemen joins an offensive lineup that includes Choo Shin-soo, Joey Gallo, Danny Santana, and Rougned Odor.

The right-handed hitter belted 21 home runs in his last season in New York.
