Giancarlo Stanton Gives His Impressions of Corey Kluber & Reacts to Returning to the Field
Watch as Yankees’ slugger Giancarlo Stanton answers questions following start of Spring Training.
Stanton talked about his first time seeing live pitching and his first impressions.
“It’s good to be out there”, Stanton said. “Got some fans in the stands, and just to get it rolling for me my first spring training game. It was good. The at-bats were about how I imagined for not seeing live for about 4 months. It was okay, I got some time to tune-up what I need to, and it’ll be alright”, he finished.
In addition, Stanton gave his impressions on seeing Corey Kluber’s pitching performance.
“Same impressions of playing against him. He’s just a dog out there. He’s gonna come pump the zone and carve up these hitters like he’s been and not be fazed. I’d say that’s the main thing I’ve taken from watching him over the years. He’s just unfazed by whatever happens out there, very poised.”
