Kris Bryant Reacts to Possible Extension With SF Giants & Brandon Crawford “Deserves MVP”
Watch as Kris Bryant speaks to media following a 2-home run game against the Mets.
“It’s really fun to be a part of,” Bryant said on an exciting first 15 games with the 1st-place Giants.
Bryant reacted to the fan appreciation after hitting two clutch homers to lead the Giants to a 7-5 win over the Mets.
“I can’t thank them enough,” Bryant said on the fan response. “They’ve embraced me with open arms. It’s just been a great time playing in front of them.”
In addition, Bryant responded to a possible extension with San Francisco.
“I hope I’m involved in those conversations. I’ve always been consistent in the past to listen to anything. I know it’s all super new to me too, the whole being here and playing with these guys. But, there’s just something different about it – it feels right.”
Bryant also expressed his admiration for shortstop Brandon Crawford after receiving MVP chants.
“He works hard, he comes out here, he keeps the group light and happy. He’s a jokester, but at the same time, he’s out there working. It’s been really fun to watch him and play and I certainly hope he’s high in the MVP conversation because he deserves it.”
