Red Sox manager Alex Cora on Texas Rangers Future: “They have arms! They’re an Interesting Team!”
In an interview with Fanatics View, Alex Cora had a lot of positives to say about the Rangers.
After a disappointing 2019 season for Red Sox manager Alex Cora, he had nothing but good things to say regarding the future of the Texas Rangers.
Cora was most enthusiastic about the Rangers pitching staff: “Arms man, they got some arms”, he told Fanatics View. “I saw some 97’s, 99’s, cutters, some special fastballs, and that’s where the game is going.”
In addition, Cora spoke on the new “vibe” in Arlington with the end of the Globe Life Park era.
“I do feel that next year it’s going to be a different vibe with a new stadium. They got some guys who can hit, I know obviously some of them are hurt – and i know they got money. It’ll be an interesting off-season for John Daniels, to see what they do, but you see the arms – very impressive.”
Finishing the interview, Cora spoke on the Rangers middle infield combo of Elvis Andrus and Rougned Odor.
“The two guys up the middle, they’re gonna step it up and be better than they were this season. They’re interesting; tough division of course, but they’re an interesting team in the up-coming years”, he finished.
