Roberto Osuna speaks on the Dangers of Pitching in Texas at Globe Life Park
Astros closer Roberto Osuna spoke to Fanatics View following blown save against the Rangers.
Osuna pitched a tough 9th inning, allowing a base-hit by Danny Santana to secure the Rangers win.
“I was just one pitch away – that’s what got me the most. I wore myself out trying to get out of the jam, and I couldn’t. It’s frustrating with the game we had – it’s just one of those games and we’re gonna get back to it tomorrow.”
In addition, Osuna spoke on Santana’s game-winning line-drive, which was almost caught by a diving George Springer.
“That was a tough line-drive, you can’t ask for much for that ball. He did everything he could, he couldn’t get it – I appreciate that from my teammate”, he finished.
Finishing the interview, Osuna was asked on the difficulties of pitching at Globe Life Park.
“It’s not difficult at all – It’s just baseball. They’ve been playing very well lately, and that’s what happens sometimes. When a team gets hot, everything goes their way.”
“Don’t get me wrong, they have a lot of good hitters, they have a good team, and they’re playing really well – that’s what happens sometimes”, he finished.
