Devin Booker becomes the youngest player in NBA history to score 70 points
Devin Booker has made history.
The second-year shooting guard posted an incredible 70 points, becoming just the sixth player to do so in NBA history. He also had eight rebounds and six assists – not a bad stat line to say the least.
As per Andre Vergara Booker’s 70 points were the most by one player in a game since Kobe Bryant scored 81 points against the Toronto Raptors (January 22, 2006), and also set the record for youngest player to score 60 in a game.
Booker’s performance is one of few rays of light the Suns have experienced this year (pun intended). Even with night Booker had, the rest of the squad failed to help secure a win. With the loss, the team is among the league’s worst and currently sits third last.
As the saying goes, there’s always next year.
