Michael Porter Jr. on Returning From Quarantine, Tough Sitting Out & Playing the 4 for Denver
Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. spoke to media following OT win over Phoenix Suns.
Porter spoke on his return to the court after his 3 week quarantine.
“It felt good to be back out there. I was just trying to match with the team you know, just get my feet back under me. It was just good to get a win”, he finished.
In addition, Porter talked about his time spent at home during quarantine.
“I wasn’t able to do too much”, he said. “They wanted me to isolate. I got a few things at the house that I was doing. Honestly it was a lot of just chillin’ and watching Netflix. I tried to get in what I could but it was tough.”
Porter also spoke on what he saw watching his team play from his home.
“We’ve been playing pretty decent. We’ve lost some close games but overall we’re getting better in the areas that we need to get better at. For me, it’s just to reintegrate myself and continue to just mesh with the team. I just gotta worry about playing hard and playing my game. With time, everything will go back to normal for me.”
