Watch as MVP James Harden shares his first game the court with NBA legend Kobe Bryant in his rookie year.
Harden spoke to the media recently and detailed his first moments facing his idol, forever NBA Legend, Kobe Bryant. “I was just trying my best. I was talking smack in his ear, and he wasn’t fazed by it. He was my idol growing up, and it was just a blessing being on the same court as him and to compete. Me, not really knowing what the hell I was doing, because I was talking to one of the best basketball players. I was just trying to be a competitor – I miss him” – Harden shared.
“It didn’t matter. Kobe Bryant did what he needed to to” Harden said on smack talk during the game. “He’s one of those special talents that don’t come around very often, not just on the court but off the court. He’s one of the ones who we loved his energy and being around him. Like I said, I miss him so much”, he finished.
