Watch as Ben Simmons speaks to media following 76ers big against Dallas Mavs.

Simmons credited Furkan Korkmaz’s performance and growing chemistry on the court.

“We have a good connection on the floor”, Simmons told media. “I’ve had a blast playing with him. He continues to get better and I think he’s deserving of that spot.”

Simmons also discussed his role on the team in securing 1st place in the East.

“I’m the point guy, I gotta run this team. I had way too many turnovers previously in the few games, but I think overall tonight I did a good job. Guarded my man, and you know running the team”, he finished.

In addition, Simmons fired shots at rival Brooklyn Nets defense prior to 1st place tie-breaker.

“Obviously Brooklyn has a lot of talent, but at the end of the day there’s only 1 ball and you gotta play defense too. We gotta come in prepared mentally and physically”, he finished.
