Japanese sensation Rui Hachimura works on three-pointers at Wizards practice
Hachimura works from deep ahead of his NBA debut against Mavericks
Fanatics view got a closer look at Japanese sensation Rui Hachimura as he worked on his three-point shot during practice. After playing three years at Gonzaga, Hachimura was the 9th overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft by the Wizards. Averaging 19 points and six rebounds per game in his junior year, Hachimura shot 41% from deep for the Bulldogs while leading them to an Elite Eight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
Born in Toyama Prefecture, Japan, Hachimura is also a member of the Japanese national basketball team.
