The Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 132-105 on Thursday night.
“We just got our ass kicked tonight,” Lou Williams said. The Warriors outscored the Clippers by 33 points in the first three quarters of the game. “They came ready to play,” Williams added. “We embarrassed them on their home floor last game, and they made a concerted effort to respond tonight.”
Kevin Durant responded to a rough game two performance by scoring 38 points and dropping 7 dimes in only 30 minutes. “As a unit, we just didn’t respond well,” Williams said.
The Warriors now take a 2-1 lead in this best of seven series.
Game 4 will return to the Staples Center on Sunday afternoon, and the Clippers will look to even up the series before they return to the Oracle for game five.
