Toronto Raptors broadcaster Paul Jones gave his perspective on the legend that is Vinsanity: Vince Carter.

Paul Jones dove into the 2000 All-Star Game Dunk Contest in an interview with the Fanatics View team in Dallas. He remembers Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter practicing dunks behind “a cloak of secrecy” in the team practice gym, and interviewing Carter just ahead of the contest.

Upon interviewing Vince Carter just before the contest, Jones said “For a guy with that flare and ability, he was… the interview was underwhelming. Vince was not – he didn’t seem like he was going to grab the dunk contest like he did.”

Now that Carter has evolved into a potential Hall of Famer, Paul Jones believes that he [Vince Carter] helped put Canada on the map from a basketball standpoint. The 2019-20 Toronto Raptors were also among topics of discussion in this exclusive interview with Paul Jones.
