Fanatics View Draft Profile – Jabrill Peppers (LB/S – Michigan)
Jabrill Peppers is a freakishly good athlete first and foremost. He is a football Swiss Army knife, in the truest sense of the term. In high school and the college ranks he played multiple positions on offense and defense mainly because of his raw athletic talent and physical awareness. At Michigan he showed that he can blitz and drop into coverage when need be. He is always a dynamic kick returner, which makes him even more valuable. He is comfortable in open space and has all-pro level directional change ability, which Is hard to find. His secondary work needs refinement but he has the raw skills. He will need to work learning how to play the ball in the air in order to generate turnovers. He has serious first-round talent but may slip due to a recent failed test at the Combine.
