James Vick Correctly Picks Daniel Cormier Fight
MMA fighter James Vick predicts correctly on UFC 226 main event.
In an interview with Fanatics View, James Vick predicted the outcome of the UFC 226 main event, light heavyweight UFC champion Daniel Cormier vs. heavyweight UFC champion Stipe Miocic.
Vick said “I’m an odds guy.” To Vick, the fight between the two champions could go either way as he described it as a “pick em.” The MMA fighter said he choose Cormier, even though he was the two to one underdog in this match up, adding that he put a “wager” on the light heavyweight champion.
Well, Vick was smart in his prediction of this battle. The way this fight ended the odds should have been in Cormier’s favor instead of Miocic. Four minutes and 33 seconds into the first round, Comier knocked down Miocic and sent in a barrage of punches that sealed his victory.
With this victory, Cormier has become only the second person in UFC history to to hold two belts simultaneously in two divisions. The first to accomplish such a feat was Conor McGregor, holding the lightweight belt and the featherweight belt.
