With a nightly statline hovering around 23-6-7, Jon Elmore has been the driving force behind one of the nation’s most prolific offenses this season. In the Conference USA final against WKU, Elmore was in his bag as he carried Marshall to victory 67-66 over the Hilltoppers.
Do-it-all floor general Elmore finished the contest with 27 points on 7 three-pointers and the win gave the Thundering Herd the 2018 C-USA title and their first NCAA Tournament berth since 1987. Elmore balled out of control on the biggest stage of his career and will now prepare to do the same as Marshall is slated to take on Wichita State in the first round of the Big Dance.
