Michael Blackson Describes His Hate for the Cowboys
Actor and comedian Michael Blackson talks about his view of the Cowboys as an Eagles fan.
In a interview with Fanatics View, Michael Blackson explains his view on the Dallas Cowboys over the years.
Blackson said that he really used to hate the Cowboys because of their dominance in the early 1990’s. The Dallas Cowboys won three Super Bowls in the 1990’s: 1992, 1993 and 1995.
“Haters hate people that are better than them,” said the comedian. Blackson, being an Philadelphia Eagles fan, hated to see a team he did not like be so successful. With the exception of a few brillant regular seasons, the Cowboys have been a shell of their dominant self. In the words of former Seattle Seahawk Richard Sherman, the Cowboys have been “mediocre.”
With the Cowboys lackluster performances throughout the last 20 years, Blackson said he “felt sorry for them.” He still wants Dallas to lose because of the rivalry between the two teams. The actor also has love for the Cowboys though because of the city and some of the players on the Dallas Cowboys team, such as Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott.
Blackson roots for his friends, but will not root against his home town team, the reigning Super Bowl Champions Philadelphia Eagles.
