Daniel Jacobs thinks that Errol Spence should be cautious about a move up to middleweight.

Daniel Jacobs feels that Errol Spence may be at a disadvantage if moves up to middleweight. There has been speculation that Spence could consider a move to the division to land a fight with Canelo Alvarez. As Spence fights at welterweight, it would mean jumping up two weight classes.

“You gotta be careful when you go out there and jump the gun too fast,” said Jacobs. “Best of luck to Errol if he jumps up and make that leap into the middleweight division. Cause it’s some big boys, he’s gonna be the smaller guy now. He’s not gonna be the guy that backs people down, so it’s gonna be different.”
