Deontay Wilder didn’t feel the need to explain his “400 years of fighting” remark and lost it when a reporter asked him to do so.

In response to a remark where Tyson Fury said that his people “have been fighting for 200 years,” Deontay Wilder shouted at Fury that his people “have been fighting for 400 years.” When a reporter asked Wilder what he meant by that, Wilder snapped and found it unnecessary to explain.

“Come on man, yo’s people too!” Wilder shouted at the reporter. “You know what I’m talking about! Y’all all know what I’m talking about man! Don’t sit up here and try to bait, and not know what I’m talking about! Y’all know what the f–k I’m talking about when I say these things!”

Wilder then removed his sunglasses, looked directly at the reporter; and urged him to continue asking for an explanation. He was clearly agitated with his question and lost his willingness to continue speaking with the media.

“Man, I’m out of here bro,” Wilder said, turning his back on the media. “Let’s go. Let’s go man.”
