24 year old linebacker Chris Borland has decided to call it a career after one rookie season. Mark Fainaru-Wada discusses Chris Borland’s retirement from the NFL due to concerns about long-term effects of repetitive head trauma. Borland had 107 tackles in 14 games with limited early season snaps and led the NFL in tackles from Week 7 onward after replacing Patrick Willis in the starting lineup.
