A little know senior receiver from Little Rock, Arkansas is now the leading receiver in Ohio State history.

After a 7 catch-2 TD performance in the B1G Ten Championship game, K.J. Hill will be leaving the Buckeyes on a high note. When asked to describe the feeling he had this to say ” I know I got it (the record) on one of these catches, you guys like to remind me every week. It just feels good, coming back to school wanting to leave my legacy, and I feel like I did that.”

The Buckeyes started slow and faced a 21-7 deficit heading into halftime. According to Hill, his teammates faith never wavered. “We’ve been here before, this year and last year, there’s no reason to have you head down. We gonna come out here, make our adjustments and we did that, and came out on top.”

Ohio State was able to turn the game on its head in the second half. Leaning on running back J.K. Dobbins and Hill along with a dominant performance by the defense led the Buckeyes to victory. Hill says each and every Buckeye believed in the 2nd half comeback. “(The mental fortitude to comeback) means everything, it shows when we’re down, we can fight through adversity. That’s been our motto this whole year is fight. I just feel like we came together, defense and offense, to win this game”, Hill explained.

Hill and his Buckeyes teammates will certainly need to brace themselves for a College Football Playoff match up with the Clemson Tigers. Clemson, led by star quarterback Trevor Lawrence, is also undefeated. The Tigers will be looking to secure back to back National Championships and put an end to the Buckeyes dream on December 28th in the Fiesta Bowl.
