Brown is a bully on the defensive line and can play low and effective in the trenches. He has good use of hand technique and he can shed blockers fairly well. He has the great ability to recover and reposition if he loses gap control. He makes very good reads very quickly and he is surprisingly light on his feet. He needs to improve his motor if he wants to be effective in the NFL.
