You’d be hard-pressed to find a junior college football player willing to give up his starting job to an out of state transfer. You’d be less likely to find a helping hand for said transfer when he joins a competitive program full of division one hopefuls.

Nobody likes losing their starting status to the new guy, but when your competition is an NFL quarterback in disguise, it’s easy to understand why confident smiles turned to stone-faced mugs.
