Alex DeBrincat reacts to Chicago Blackhawks Scandal With Kyle Beach: “Pretty Disturbing”

Alex DeBrincat spoke on the Chicago Blackhawks scandal after former Blackhawk Kyle Beach spoke out on his sexual assault encounter with former video coach Brad Aldrich back in 2010.

“I mean, hearing the story is obviously pretty disturbing obviously. That’s never something you want to hear that goes on… it’s tough to see.”

“You know my time here, we’ve never had anything like that happen. You know the values we have here are very strong… we got addressed today, the team addressed us and I think we move on from it learn from it and really come together as a team and make sure that doesn’t happen sure that doesn’t’ happen again.”

DeBrincat also spoke on if he or the other players on the team knew the details before everything came out about the situation.

“I had not heard anything about that, previous to that. It’s sad, anytime something like that happens it’s really sad and very disturbing like I said, you never wish that on anyone. You know for them to be that young trying to get into the league and that happening I think it is a horrible story and you know hopefully it never happens again.”
