Taylor Hall on Being a Player for Boston Bruins: “Something Special Being on a Original 6 Franchise”
Watch as Bruins’ Taylor Hall reacts to 3-0 win over New York Islanders.
Hall emphasized the small things that lead to important scoring plays for the Bruins.
“As a line when I’m out there, if we do those little things right, if we prevent pucks from getting into the slot in our end, and if we get pucks out clean and make plays, eventually we’re gonna create chances and score goals. It’s really what happens before the goal.”
Hall also commented on the Bruins’ culture being an original 6 franchise.
“There’s something different about playing for an original 6 franchise like the Bruins. There’s a culture here that’s special and it’s a credit to the guys that’ve been here for a while that created that.”
Being a new addition to the Bruins roster, Hall expressed his growing comfortability with his new teammates.
“I can feel myself getting more comfortable as the games go on. Little plays between your linemates like [David] Krejci and [Craig] Smith, they wanna make plays. They want to see you out there. For me, it’s just getting used to being in spots where they can give me the puck and vice versa.”
