The 1st place San Francisco Giants battled through a hard-fought game to secure another impressive win against Arizona.

Following the game, Posey spoke on the toughness of the 2021 Giants lineup never being out of a game.

“I think the way our offense can put pressure on other teams, we feel like if we can keep it close, we have a shot at any point of the game.”

In addition, Posey reacted to 2nd inning huge fan ovation for former Giants World Series MVP Madison Bumgarner.

“Obviously, Bum did incredible things here and will always be beloved. It’s cool to see him get that ovation. For a guy that’s meant so much to the Giants organization and the city of San Francisco. They’re probably people sitting in the stands that have specific memories of watching him pitch.”
