With Nowitzki’s career coming to end the role of becoming a bench player is a realistic option. Nowitzki did say with him being 40 years-old and having so much experience in the league adjusting to a new role won’t be too difficult for him. Dirk did joke about his age and admitted he’s not as fast as he once was, but if Nowitzki can shoot the ball at a high percentage he’ll add a huge spark for the Mavs.
