LSU Tigers get revenge against Aggies on a special Senior Night.

Star LSU quarterback Joe Burrow came in to senior night with the intention of letting the fans know this would be a game to remember. With it being his last game in the stadium, Burrow made it a night to remember before the start of the first quarter with his jersey.

Burrow trotted down the field with a new name dawned on the back of his jersey: “Burreaux.” The crowd exploded with excitement. It was a play on Louisiana’s Cajun French heritage. This was fitting for his final night in Death Valley.

“Yeah, it kind of hit me when I was jogging down the field for the last time,” the graduate transfer said. “You know, this is the best atmosphere in the country, Saturday nights in Death Valley. I’m going to miss it with all my heart.”

He passed for 352 yards and three touchdowns, completing 72% of his passes. This was the sixth consecutive time Burrow passed for more than 300 yards in a game. This was clearly a revenge game and LSU let the Texas A&M Aggies have it. LSU’s offense found the end zone repeatedly and the defense playing to the standard they are known for lead to a 50-7 annihilation of the Aggies.
