Head coach Ed Orgeron spoke glowing about his quarterback and what he means to the state of Louisiana following the Tigers blowout win vs. Texas A&M.

“Joe’s meant a lot to Louisiana and Louisiana is very proud of LSU football,” Orgeron said. “The guy’s been phenomenal.”

Joe passed for 352 yards and three touchdowns, completing 72% of his passes. This was the sixth consecutive time Burrow passed for more than 300 yards in a game. This was clearly a revenge game and LSU let the Texas A&M Aggies have it. LSU’s offense found the end zone repeatedly and the defense playing to the standard they are known for lead to a 50-7 annihilation of the Aggies.

Texas A&M’s head coach Jimbo Fisher had no answer for the Tigers offensive onslaught or how to figure out the LSU’s defense.

“”They kicked our butts,” Fisher said. “LSU’s offense is outstanding.”

“”Kellen [Mond] was pressured all night,” Fisher said. “We couldn’t get the running game going, couldn’t get any first downs.”

This is LSU’s first undefeated season since the 2011 season. LSU has done everything in their power and more to be ranked No.1 in the country. The rest is in the hands of the committee.
