Watch as Carmelo Anthony reacts to boo’s following playoff win over Denver Nuggets.

Portland took the opening playoff series win in Denver, with a final score of 123-109.

“We was prepared for this”, Anthony told media. “We don’t look at it as a steal. We came in here and we earned this win tonight.”

Camerlo also reacted to getting booed by his formal Nuggets croud in Western Conference opener.

“It’s what, been almost 10 years now since I’ve been here. The love is there man, they love me, they hate me. I can’t do nothing about that, just go out there and smile and enjoy myself and have fun and play basketball.”

“I don’t know what it is”, Carmelo continued on recieving harsh feedback from Denver fans. “I gave my all here when I was [here] 7 and a half, 8 years. I’ve never said anything bad about Denver, about the fans, about the organization, players.”

Additionally, Carmelo gave his thoughts on teammate Damian Lillard’s leadership.

“He makes plays, he’s not a selfish guy. He’s actually self-less to be honest with you. We feed off of him. He got it going like that, we love to see it, we love to be a part of that.”
