The Mavericks took game 1 of the first round with a final score of 113-103. Luka Doncic spoke to media following clutch opener victory.

“Playoffs are fun”, Luka told media on the win. “They’re especially more fun if you win, obviously. It’s fun basketball, I think it’s fun for the fans to watch it”, he finished.

Luka also discussed adjusting to the Clippers defensive strategies.

“I think I just gotta adjust. When they don’t double, attack it, but when they double, somebody’s going to be open. Just gotta read the game, and that’s the point for me”, he finished.

In addition, Luka responded to playing his best game during pressure moments like the playoffs.

“I’m hoping that I’m at my best, but I think that’s far away. I’m only in my 3rd season, so I still got a lot to learn. We just go out there, have fun, and try to win the game.”
