Watch as rookie Josh Green recaps his first NBA season with Dallas following round 1 elimination.

Green spoke on some of the the key takeaways from his rookie season and learning from the Dallas Mavericks team.

“Being in the playoffs”, Green said on biggest moment in his rookie season. “A lot of 20 year olds can’t really say that they’re in the NBA playoffs. For me, just being able to learn as much as I can and being able to watch that, is crazy. I feel like I was able to learn a lot, and ready to get back in the gym…”

Additionally, Green discussed his growing confidence and dedication to improve throughout his NBA career.

“The biggest thing is getting game reps and feeling confident in games, and that just comes with time. I’m not too concerned about my shot, I’m gonna continue to work on it, it’s gonna be one of my biggest things to work on. For me, it’s just something that will come.”

Green also explained the importance of watching the Mavericks playoff run in the 2021 season.

“Sometimes, just being able to sit back and watch, is more beneficial than playing. I got a whole experience the last three weeks of watching 5 of the best players in the NBA.”
