Lance McCullers Jr. “Enjoyed” Boo’s from LA Dodgers Fans & Kendall Graveman “So Nasty” | ASTROS
Houston’s Lance McCullers Jr. speaks to media after a 6-inning shutout against Dodgers.
Lance McCullers led the Astros to a huge win in Los Angeles, allowing four hits while striking out nine through 6 & 2/3rd innings.
“It’s probably the most fun I’ve had pitching in a long time,” he said on dominating the 1st place Dodgers.
McCullers spoke on the Astros receiving massive boo’s playing at Dodgers stadium.
“I enjoyed it,” McCullers told the media. “There were a lot of people here, it was obviously a lot of booing, but I liked it.”
“He is so nasty,” McCullers said on Kendall Graveman’s 8th inning outing. “It’s so fun watching him pitch.”
McCullers also spoke on gameplan in facing the dangerous Dodgers lineup.
“Honestly I told [Martin] Maldonado today when we were doing the meeting together, I said ‘Man, I just absolutely want to attack the zone with everything. I want to put them on their heels, I want to make them feel like I’m coming at them, and just overwhelm them’. So that was the game plan for sure.”
“It’ll be sore, but I’ll be okay,” McCullers added on AJ Pollock’s 7th inning ricochet off his ankle.
