Trent Thorton spoke with Fanatics View following his 7-inning shutout against the Rangers.
Blue Jays starting pitcher Trent Thorton discussed his game-plan for his start against Texas. “That kind of helped me through the rest of the game, I felt pretty good”. In addition, Thorton spoke about his 7-inning outing “The one thing i want to do is get deeper into games, tonight i felt pretty good. I really focused on my breathing and taking it one pitch at a time”
Finishing the interview, Thorton discussed the veteran presence on the Blue Jays. “Buchholz, Stroman, Sanchez – They’ve been a great help to me. It’s been a lot of fun, we just want to win”
Thorton provided quality innings against the Rangers, allowing only 1 hit through 7 innings of work.
