Chris Paul spoke to Fanatics View in Oklahoma City about Luka Doncic

“Man, they’ve been great all year long”, Paul said about Oklahoma City’s bench performance against the Mavs. “Dennis is himself, we added Hami – it was good to have our guys back tonight.”

Paul spoke on the Thunder’s defense against a powerful offense of Dallas. “The last 4 minutes is when we really lock it down and tighten up, and that’s what we did tonight. We gotta figure out how to put a whole game together, but I’m happy about what we’ve been doing.”

In addition, Paul was asked about what he say from Mavs superstar Luka Doncic by Fanatics View: “The confidence, and the pace that he plays at; he knows the reads – he knows everything. Paul also discussed the honor of placing Luka in the MVP consideration this year. “Absolutely – the coolest thing to see is how the teammates act around him. He’s got the respect of his teammates. They want to give him the ball, they want to screen for him, they like playing for him, and that’s bigger than the numbers.”

“Trust, offensively and defensively”, Paul said on what it takes to win their close games going into the 4th quarter. “We’re learning, and it’d be a different story if we were losing them, but it’s nice to learn and win at the same time. It’s everybody in our locker room believing we can win it”, he finished.
