Atlanta Hawks rookie De’Andre Hunter sat down to answer questions for the media.

Hunter voiced his confidence heading into his rookie season with the Hawks.

“I don’t really like the word pressure”, he said. “I feel like you create pressure on your own – it doesn’t come from other people. If you just know what you have to do, and know what you’ve got to get better at, then you’re fine with you own expectations. I just try to have high expectations for myself, and what other people say I don’t try to listen to. I’m not really a believer in pressure, necessarily”, he finished.

According to Hunter, Trae Young gave some good words of advice for the rookie.

“Just be confident”, Hunter told media. “He’s a confident player, so he just said be yourself, and do what you know how to do, and everything will fall into place”.
