The Golden State Warriors followed up a game two home loss with a dominating performance over the Los Angeles Clippers. The Warriors won easily, 132-105.
Draymond Green said they weren’t trying to make a statement after their game two defeat.
“We’re in the playoffs,” Green said. “It’s not about making a statement. We lost home court advantage last game, and we wanted to come and get that back.”
Kevin Durant led the Warriors with 38 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds.
Green said Durant came out in kill mode.
“I think he was due for one,” Green said. “Not many people can stop Kevin if Kevin don’t want to be stopped, and he showed that tonight.”
The Warriors went on to defeat the Clippers and Houston Rockets in six games, and they are now slated to face off against the Portland Trailblazers in the Warriors’ fifth straight Western Conference Finals appearance.
