Kawhi Leonard on Paul George: “He helps out ease up the game for me as well”

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have already established themselves as a force to be reckoned with, and they continue to get better.

“It’s been great,” said Leonard about playing alongside George. “You know, we’re still trying to figure it out. As well as the plays and everybody else playing off of each other. It’s been good so far. We’ve been winning, so it always could be worse. But, you know, just an all-star caliber player. MVP votes last year. He’s helping us space out the floor and also gives you the extra defender on the other end.”

The Clippers will now take on the Dallas Mavericks up next. Leonard chimed in on Luka Doncic and shared his thoughts about Doncic’s current dominance.

“You know, he’s the head of the snake over there. He’s playing great. Getting his teammates the ball. Making shots. Just playing competitive basketball. You know, they’re winning.”

Leonard also spoke on fellow teammate Montrezl Harrell, who dropped a career-high 34 points against the Pelicans.

“He went out there and played aggressive tonight. He’s able to pass the ball as being a five-man. He’s getting to his spots and blocking shots on defense as well. Just going out there competing and not backing down.”
